For Tel Aviv-based Raw Tapes artist Yammi Wisler, playing guitar has always meant freedom. Wisler first picked up an instrument in a public bomb shelter during the Gulf War, there he was taught his first chord. Wisler grew up in a time when everything on the radio was ruled by synthesizers. He was hungry for something more organic and rawer.
